Nevada Gold Corp (OTCQB:NVGC) is a publicly traded US exploration company focused on precious metals targets in the gold rich area of North Eastern Nevada. To date, Nevada State has produced over 200 million ounces of gold with Nevada accounting for almost 84% of the US annual gold production. Most recently the company has a acquired an option to earn a a 75 percent interest in the former producing silver/lead and gold mine called the Diamond Jim Mine located in Northern Nevada State.

The Diamond Jim Mine in Elko County consists of 35 claims and is located in northeastern Nevada, 20 miles (32 km) south of the Idaho border, 69 miles (111 km) north of the city of Elko and 260 miles (418 km) northeast of the city of Reno. The property lies on the easterly end of the northeast-trending Midas trend, one of Nevada's several important epithermal gold belts. The Midas trend hosts a number of significant to world-class gold districts such as Midas-Ken Snyder Mine and the Jerritt Canyon Mine (recently produced its 8 millionth ounce of gold). These mines produce mainly from epithermal vein systems favourable for small but profitable high-grade operations and Carlin-type sediment-hosted deposits amenable to large-scale open-pit bulk mining.

Nevada Gold Corp plans to conduct an initial surface exploration program as well as seek a permit to reopen the old mine workings to verify pervious exploration results. In addition to the Diamond Jim property the company also has an option on another gold property located in Nevada's Long Canyon Gold Trend.

I would like to thank all present and future shareholders for their interest in being part of Nevada Gold Corp. As I look to our future, I am excited to be part of Nevada’s newest gold trend, The Long Canyon Trend. Nevada State has always been the country’s leader in the exploration, development and production of gold and silver. Mining has always played a major role in Nevada’s employment and tax base.

We are very excited about our most recent option agreement to acquire a 75 percent interest in the former producing Diamond Jim Mine also located in the Northern Nevada. This former operation mine is rich in local history and was quite a going concern many years ago. Nevada Gold Corp intends to prioritize this exploration target as early as late September of this year. The former owners of the Diamond Jim Mine produced very encouraging results in the mid-1980's however metal prices at the time were significantly lower than 2013 prices. It's our desire to eventually re-enter the underground workings of the Diamond Jim mine to confirm these previous results. On our website we have posted old maps and results form the the former owners. We encourage shareholder to have a look at this data.

Nevada Gold Corp’s recent option agreement to acquire a claim block in the Long Canyon Trend is very timely. While our option properties are of a grass roots nature, they are located in an area of significant exploration activities from start-up exploration companies to that of global mining companies. Nevada Gold Corp’s first endeavour will be to complete a surface and air-born geological survey, to produce an exploration report for moving forward.

It is my intention to add to our existing and experienced board, other individuals with needed experience to help develop our company in the future. I will be looking to form an advisory committee outside of the board, in order to help guide Nevada Gold Corp with geological and corporate development skills.

Raising capital for exploration on our properties plays an integral role in moving forward. As there appears to be a modern day gold rush back to Nevada State and particularly in the Long Canyon Trend, this will work in our favour... It would also appear that gold prices are firming again as well, junior exploration companies are starting to attract the attention of investors. These encouraging developments should allow our management team a stronger likely hood to achieve our targeted exploration budget.

Nevada Gold Corp's first priority (weather permitting) is to conduct a surface chip sampling program as well as locate and gather samples from the property's tailings dumps. The Diamond Jim Mine - Overview

The Diamond Jim Mine is located in the Island Mountain mining district in northern Elko County, Nevada state. The property consists of 33 lode claims encompassing 660 acres which are now held under an option agreement. This property is centrally located to a larger claim block that has been controlled and explored by several different exploration and mining companies off and on since 1962. The Diamond Jim mine was discovered in the late 1860’s and went into production in 1934 with serious production commencing in 1954. Previous “estimated” non-NI 43.101 compliant resources were 4.25 million tons grating 2 ounces of silver per ton. This estimate was defined in 1985 by Columbus Mines Inc. The “Non 43-101 compliant resource has an in ground gross, value of $182,750,000 million worth of silver.”

The Diamond Jim Mine lies near the northern flank of the Midas Trough metallogenic trend. This trend is host to several large and world-class deposits including the Midas-Ken Synder and Jerritt Canyon mines. Epithermal vein systems and “Carlin Type” sedimentary-hosted deposits are both found within the Midas Trough.

Locally, the Diamond Jim Mine is situated in an area of structurally and stratigraphically controlled silver-lead mineralization. The main structure is a northeast trending strongly silicified and brecciated vein that dips steeply to the west. Initial mapping indicates that this structure has a strike length of at least 6800 feet (2073 m). The high-grade epithermal mineralization is reported to be predominantly along imbricate thrust faults that occur at right angles to the main contact vein. That is, northeast striking with dips of 20 to 30 degree to the southeast. The silver mineralization occurs as argentiferous galena, sphalerite and tennantite as cavity filling, minor replacement pockets, stringers and replacement lenses. Values as high as 19.1 ounce per ton silver and 14.01 percent lead over a 3.7 foot wide vein have been reported.
