American Energy Development’s strategy is to acquire high quality prospects and apply the latest geological, geophysical, and environmental technology to create shareholder value whilst minimizing risk-exposure.
Through its strategic acquisition and exploration strategy, American Energy Development has acquired 30,243 acres of prime oil and gas acreage, and 19.23 sq. miles of high quality 3-D Seismic data on its acreage targeting prolific Oil and Gas formations in proven basins.

Dansville ~ Niagaran Reef Prospect ~ (Ingham County, MI)
American Energy Development’s 1,343 acre Dansville prospects are located amongst wells drilled by majors ExxonMobil, BP, and regional major player WestBay Exploration. Reefs in Michigan have produced a total of 472 million barrels of oil and 2.8 TCF gas with American Energy Development’s acreage found in the midst of a proven oil bearing southern reef trend. Using 3-D seismic previously not available on earlier exploration programs over the area, the first of three prospects Brown-12 was drilled in 1972 reporting an Initial production of 583 barrels of oil per day and lies contiguous to a Reef drilled by ExxonMobil that has already produced 606,000 Barrels of oil.

MICHIGAN
White-Tail ~ Niagaran Reef Prospect ~ (Northern Michigan)
American Energy Development’s 4,200 acre White-tail prospect is located in Northern Michigan an area known for prolific Niagaran reef structures exploited by Royal Dutch Shell, BP, and proven shale acreage that counts players such as Chesapeake, Chevron, and Encana. Located in a play that covers about 2,500,000 acres within the proven oil bearing 12 -15 mile wide reef belt, reefs in the area range from 50–400 acres in size and are 200–700 ft in depth. The two largest reefs drilled have both been drilled in the Northern Trend are the Chester 18A field, with 14 millions barrels of recoverable oil drilled by Royal Dutch Shell and the Grant 13 field which has approximately 47 Billion cubic feet of recoverable natural gas.

Windsor Prospect ~ Southern England ~ (Windsor, United Kingdom)
American Energy Development’s 24,700 acre prospect is located amongst sizeable UK onshore fields such as BP’s 500 Million barrel Wytch farm oil field, Europe’s largest onshore oil and gas field. The underexplored UK onshore fields share relations to the 30 Billion Barrel North Sea by containing similar structures and sands. Seismic mapping undertaken on the prospect demonstrates a Northwest - Southeast trending closed anticline. The prospect has prospective resources of up to 615 Million barrels of oil inplace.
